Provide your feedback to help the author improve the post. Keep your comments short and to the point (NO WRITING LONG BOOKS). Do not attempt to rewrite the post for the author. Instead, surface the problems the author must fix to improve the post and meet the requirements set forth in the guidance. Use the topic button to pinpoint which sub-section of the post you are addressing.
- You can edit your comment as long as no user has replied to your comment or voted on it.
- You can reply to other team member comments to maintain the thread. Qukku supports 3 levels of comment threading.
Using Markdown - The comment section also support markdown to enable rich formatting of comments. You can also embed, pictures, and links in the comment section to get your point across.
- Use the "Up" votes as social signal to indicate your approval or agreement with the comment made by other team members.
- Use the "Down" vote as a social signal to indicate your disapproval or disagreement with the comment made by other team members.
Comment Disposition - Comments are disposed by authors when they publish a new version.
Accept Comment - A comment can be accepted by an author only. The acceptance of a comment is a social signal back to the commenter that their input was incorporated to improve the current version of the post.
Reject Comment - A comment can be rejected by an author only. The rejection of a comment is a social signal back to the commenter that their input was NOT incorporated to improve the current version of the post.
Ice Box - A comment can be moved to another section of the recipe if the author deems the comment to be of topic to the current section of the recipe.
Perma Links - You can get the permanent link to the comment by hovering over the date and time of the comment and right clicking on it (PC Browser ONLY). Use this link in the message UI or e-mail to direct dialog on specific comments.
